A brow model incorporating the latest technology and sensibility. The front has an innovative structure layering a beta-titanium brow part made through advanced press technology with acetate, a model characterized by the light-touch look and color coordination of the different materials combined. Rather than simply pairing acetate with beta titanium, the acetate brow is given a stepped finish using advanced techniques to produce a sense of unity with the metal brow. This process eliminates any step between the metal brow and the acetate, creating a unified look. Artisans apply, sheet by sheet, a gradient FC finish to the brow part that has been given a stepped finish through press-forming, and the combination with the acetate fabric results in an innovative design that takes the classic brow model a step further. The front is fitted with a single-letter pressed ornament, and a new mechanism combining this ornament with a triple hinge produces an outstandingly soft, comfortable fit. The combination of the triple hinge with buffalo horn produces the outstanding fit unique to Ptolemy Fortyeight.
