Warranty

This product has been manufactured, inspected, and adjusted in accordance with Ptolemy48’s traditional quality standards.
Ptolemy48 International Warranty Service is available at Ptolemy48 directly operated stores and authorized Ptolemy48 retailers. International service is available worldwide through Ptolemy48 Customer Service Centers.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Ptolemy48 warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in accordance with the guidelines issued by Ptolemy48 for a period of one year from the date the product was originally purchased by the end user (the “Warranty Period”).
If a defect covered by this warranty occurs within 12 months from the date of purchase, the defective part will be repaired, replaced, or adjusted free of charge.
Please note that all claims under the Ptolemy48 One-Year Limited Warranty are subject to the terms and conditions stated in the warranty certificate.
Suppliers other than Ptolemy48 may provide their own warranties. Please contact the respective supplier directly for details.

Warranty Exclusions

Notwithstanding the above, the following are excluded from coverage under the Ptolemy48 International Warranty:

  1. Consumable parts or protective coatings that are reasonably expected to deteriorate over time, unless such damage is caused by a defect in materials or workmanship.
  2. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents, unless such damage is caused by a defect in materials or workmanship.
  3. Malfunction or damage caused by accident, improper handling, excessive use or force (including impact or crushing), repairs not authorized by Ptolemy48, misuse, fire, earthquake, or other external causes.
  4. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear or normal deterioration over time.

Warranty Service

If your product requires repair, please bring the product together with its warranty certificate to the authorized retailer from which it was purchased or to a Ptolemy48 Customer Service Center.
The warranty certificate is invalid if any required information is missing, including the date of purchase or the retailer’s stamp or seal.

Paid Repair Period After Product Discontinuation

Ptolemy48 accepts paid repairs for a period of two years after a product has been discontinued.
Product discontinuations will be announced on this website.
However, even within this paid repair period, Ptolemy48 may be unable to accept a repair request in the following circumstances:

  • If unforeseen circumstances arise, such as when technological advances or other factors make it difficult to obtain replacement parts or provide plating services.
