A Wellington-shaped celluloid frame characterized by the height of the bridge and end pieces, crafted by Japanese artisans. Ptolemy48's celluloid uses material that has been slowly dried and hardened, giving it just the right amount of "flex" with little deformation, and careful polishing by hand by skilled artisans brings out the deep luster unique to celluloid. By sandwiching a titanium metal part between the frame and the lens, we succeeded in expressing an elegance unique to the brand. The front celluloid combines with the texture of the gold titanium rim and titanium pad, creating a playful design with a moderate gorgeousness as the lens edge glints and sparkles. The titanium armor is finished in "Onyx Black," and by equipping the armor section with a brooch function, this piece resolves the risk that comes with inserting lenses — a drawback of inner metal-rim frames — resulting in an optically superior masterpiece.
