Adopts acetate fabric in "pale tone," the trend color of 2019. Pale tone is a color also described as light or sherbet-colored, a clean, clear color that connects to an image of "lightness and openness." To achieve greater lightness, the front is machined down to the thinnest possible thickness, and a beta-titanium sheet rim is combined on the back to maintain strength. Taking advantage of the pale-tone acetate's characteristics, the cut-out pattern of the beta-titanium rim on the back is designed to appear see-through. Beautiful, finely detailed engraving continues to the temples. Through precise calculation, slits are cut into the temple arms to maximize the elasticity of the beta-titanium, achieving the "Pera-arm hinge," with an ideal balance of thinness and thickness. By positioning the hinge's pivot point toward the rear, the force pushing forward on the front of the frame is greatly reduced. These elements combine at a high level, largely eliminating the tendency for the frame to slide down. While pursuing functionality, it expresses a refined, smart design that evolves vintage eyewear. The compatibility of the new "Pera-arm hinge" mechanism with the slim, smooth-to-the-touch, beautifully lustrous acetate temples produces an outstanding fit.
