Product Details

Ptolemy 48 celluloid uses a slowly dried and hardened celluloid material, resulting in appropriate flexibility, minimal deformation, and a deep luster unique to celluloid, achieved through meticulous polishing by skilled artisans. The diverse colors of the celluloid material and the unique soft shapes, inspired by European vintage frames, have garnered support from a wide range of customers across various ages and genders. This is a masterpiece that satisfies not only design but also photochemical elements. The new "J-hinge" mechanism has been adopted. By positioning the pivot point of the temple opening further back, the problem of glasses slipping forward when worn has been significantly improved. The "J-hinge" is made from β-titanium through press working, increasing its elasticity. Combined with the coreless celluloid construction, it creates a comfortable fit that gently holds the head. Titanium decorations are attached to the temples using a riveting method. This frame is a culmination of masterful techniques, incorporating extensive secondary processing of the celluloid material. All metal parts are made of titanium and are individually plated, significantly improving durability.
