Ptolemy48 celluloid uses a slowly dried and hardened celluloid material, which provides optimal flexibility, minimizes deformation, and produces the unique deep luster characteristic of celluloid through meticulous polishing by skilled artisans. We use original vintage celluloid to modernize the classic, dignified browline style of yesteryear into a square shape. Handcrafted by eyewear artisans, the flexible coreless temples and three-barrel hinges create an exceptionally comfortable fit. The end pieces are coated with Shippo enamel, and the combination of celluloid and plating colors creates an exquisite palette unique to Ptolemy48.
