Tolemy 48 celluloid uses slowly dried and hardened celluloid material, providing just the right amount of flexibility, minimizing deformation. Furthermore, through meticulous polishing by skilled artisans, it achieves the deep luster characteristic of celluloid. While envisioning a lighter and more comfortable fit, we thinned the front celluloid section to 3.5mm and developed a new S-shaped triple hinge, resulting in an unprecedentedly lightweight and comfortable celluloid frame. We matured natural celluloid material made from cotton and adopted the world's first original celluloid fabric made by laminating two 6mm sheets.

By using a β-titanium spring spat, it creates a cushioning effect, making the frame feel surprisingly light when worn.
