Ptolemy48's uniquely colored acetate is made from original fabric commissioned from the Italian company Mazzucchelli. The three-layer laminated fabric, handcrafted with the color sense of Italian artisans, has a strikingly vivid, near-transparent coloring that allows for more nuanced, sensitive expression. You can make out three layers: the acetate front as the background, with the beta-titanium front metal acting as a pinpoint accent. The temples are made from aged beta titanium, 1.5mm thick, press-formed down to an ultra-thin 0.7mm to maximize elasticity, with a camellia design pressed into the center. The petals are finished with cloisonné enamel, making for an elegant masterpiece. The contrast between the metal color and the acetate color is a coloring unique to Ptolemy48, expressing refinement.
