The front beta-titanium and acetate are joined using a floating construction method that secures them only at the bridge, producing an outstanding fit. The hinge adopts a U-shaped hinge, a structure that allows the important optical tilt angle to be incorporated along with comfort. The beta-titanium temples are built using a technique in which artisans cut pieces of Akoya pearl shell and apply them one by one with tweezers, like nail art.
