3mm sheet titanium is cut into a crown panto shape, an intricate design distinctive in its own right through elaborate detail and a slim construction. On top of the base design, which produces both a hard material and a delicate outline, the difference in texture from the glossy celluloid inner wrap creates atmosphere. Ptolemy48's celluloid uses material that has been slowly dried and hardened, giving it just the right amount of "flex" with little deformation, and careful polishing by hand by skilled artisans brings out the deep luster unique to celluloid.
