A mixed frame pairing a celluloid front base with a metal bridge. An expressive front design born from the soft impression of the celluloid rim combined with a metal bridge that heightens the sense of quality. The beautiful design, conscious of the flow from the titanium armor to the beta-titanium temple end, brings the bridge and stay together with the Man Ray bridge to give the frame a sleek, refined impression. The front is a Wellington shape with a slightly shallower vertical size (lens height). Slits are cut into the temples, achieving the "Pera temples" with an ideal balance of thinness and thickness. This produces a lightness and fit unlike anything before, dramatically improving functionality. Ptolemy48's celluloid uses material that has been slowly dried and hardened, giving it just the right amount of "flex" with little deformation, and careful polishing by hand by skilled artisans brings out the deep luster unique to celluloid.
