"King Buffalo Horn" refers to the most beautiful "white horn" obtained from the "Babalus Alni" water buffalo found in the West Indies, and only a very small amount of it can be acquired. We meticulously crafted each temple by hand using this "white horn" with exceptional attention to detail. Our skilled artisans applied color coating to the precious "white horn" and then applied seven layers of urethane resin-based coating to create a brilliant, translucent hue. The use of a triple-hinge design ensures an exceptionally soft and comfortable fit. Buffalo horn has a very low specific gravity, making it incredibly lightweight, and its natural properties are exceptionally gentle on the skin, making it particularly recommended for those with allergies or sensitive skin. Ptolemy48 horn frames are handmade one by one by skilled eyeglass artisans in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
