These are one-of-a-kind pieces, handcrafted by Japanese artisans, using only the most beautiful "white horn" obtained in very small quantities for the temples. The precious "white horn" is color-coated by artisans and then undergoes seven coats of urethane resin coating, creating a brilliant, translucent hue. The use of a three-barrel hinge provides an exceptionally soft fit. Buffalo horn has a very low specific gravity, making it extremely lightweight, and its natural material is extraordinarily gentle on the skin, making it particularly recommended for those with allergic or sensitive skin. True to its name, "Knight," the front of the frame was created using the "block construction method," developed by Japanese artisans boasting world-class techniques. The block construction method involves cutting three pieces of cellulose acetate into shape, inserting them into a mold, and then bonding them together with a hydraulic press. Both the mold and the acetate parts require extreme precision in this method, truly making this a frame perfected by Japanese craftsmanship. Limited release of 50 pieces worldwide!
